Analysis - How do I use Responses Organised by Question?

Rowena Farr -

Responses Organised by Question is an option found on the Consultation Dashboard for your consultation.

Responses Organised by Question can be used to:

See what percentage of respondents have answered each question:

Each question number and title is shown with number of responses and the percentage of total respondents.

See the breakdown of responses by question:

Check box options of an example question are shown with total answer numbers and a percentage of all.

Filter a question and then group it against another question
 to cross-tabulate data:

Answers to the question how do you feel about your local police force from respondents who answered No to being asked whether they agree that crime is an issue in their area.

You will also see charts of the responses for easy visualisation.

It is possible to include or exclude 'not answered' from the charts or graphs, which you can read more about in our article detailing that option.

Any filters that are applied can be cleared individually, or all in one go by selecting 'Clear All'.

Analyst questions are included in the question list, so you can filter and/or group using analyst question data. Analyst-only questions will be differentiated in the table view with a pale blue highlight, in consistence with colouring seen on the Analyse Responses and Add Response pages.

Hopefully this will be helpful in many use cases, such as when needing to group responses by their origin, eg. "All responses that were manually added from an offline event who agree with Point A".
