Uploading files - how can I upload a file to a completed response?

Kate Laine-Toner -

On occasion, a respondent will forget to upload a supporting document to a response they've submitted online. It is possible to attach these files on their behalf. We recommend you wait until your consultation has closed before you do this (otherwise you would need to retract your consultation in order to edit it).

To upload a file on behalf of a respondent, you will need to add in a new analyst-only question which has 'File Upload' as the answer component.

Once you have done this, you will need to go to 'Analyse Responses' on the consultation dashboard, search by the response ID to find that particular submission, and then upload the file using the analyst-only question you have created.

NB Analyst-only answer components appear next to the answer components to the actual question. The supporting documents are also downloadable as attachments.
