This article is for Citizen Space Geospatial. Please speak to your account manager if you are interested in learning more about it.
Once you confirm that you would like to add Geospatial to your Citizen Space, your Account Manager will be in touch to go through the next steps.
You will need to:
- Confirm your Geospatial ‘switch-on’ date, and book in a call with us on that day to run through the set up.
- Make sure that you can access your Ordnance Survey API key (please don’t tell us this information, you or a colleague from your organisation will add it directly into your site during the set up call).
- Consider setting up a specific project in your Ordnance Survey account.
- Decide which Ordnance Survey tileset you would like to have as the default map, and consider if you would like to limit which tile sets can be used in your site. Find out more about the available tilesets.
Those are the main technical elements to get you set up with Geospatial for Citizen Space. But you may also need to start thinking about how you will let your existing Citizen Space admin users know about Geospatial for Citizen Space, specifically about the switch-on date and the new features that will appear.
Once you are all set up, you can start adding mapping pages into your Citizen Space consultations and surveys!
